Cursive: Form and Function

Letters as beautiful to look at as they are to read

As cursive makes a comeback in some states, the instruction hasn't wavered among traditional Montessori schools in the U.S. and internationally. Beginning as early as Pre-K, students in the Montessori methodology learn to write in cursive before print. The fluid, connected formations of cursive letters are viewed as an easier, more natural progression from scribbling to writing for young children.

Heartfelt, endearing, and sometimes hilarious
